This is one of the many questions I was asked during one of my interviews. It was the easiest one to answer. "I'd like all of them to know that music has always played an important role in my life. Especially, since I was surrounded by a family of musicians. Mom played the piano, Dad played the guitar and my brother played the drums. I on the other hand, couldn’t play an instrument if my life depended on it, so I would sing and dance. Hence, the reason I’m a writer because I can’t hold a tune if my life depended on it. I absolutely love to listen to music while I’m writing. It’s the perfect way to set the mood and the tone of a story. I wanted to include a playlist at the end of my first two novels but time wouldn’t allow. So instead, I’ve added the playlists on my website. www.connielafortune.com I've learned from my mistakes and I was able to add a playlist to Bound by Steel.
